While the boat owner was quick to remedy the situation with a new boat, I was a little dismayed that he blamed us for the engine issues that led to our snagging the mooring line. Admittedly the ultimate responsibility should rest with myself as the skipper, and I failed to understand the problem with the engine sooner (it had been acting up earlier in the day, but I failed to take note). However, I believe that proper maintenance of the boat's engine would have prevented the engine failing. The owner, however, was very nice and did help us to a larger and nicer boat for the duration of our charter. I did greatly appreciate his efforts in securing us the new boat, and our trip turned around greatly because of his efforts.

el servicio fue escaso, la alternativa que nos dieron fue o volver a Atenas ( estabamos a 40 millas) o aguantar toda la semana. todo ello teniendonos 4 horas en un puerto esperando a que viniera un tecnico que finalmente nos dijo que no podia arreglarlo.

Upon check-in, we were informed our check-out captain had been cancelled for some reason! They had to make many calls to find a captain at the last minute, and it took several hours. We had requested a pack and play for the baby, and that was never followed up on by Boat jump or Navigar. I contacted Boatjump a few days before we left inquiring about the pack n play, and was referred to the "Happiness" department, which did not contact me until a couple days after I was referred to them. By that time, we decided to bring our own pack n play. During our provisioning the boat, we were provided a cooler and were told they would provide ice, which would not have happened if we had not asked about it again - it was a minor thing, but made Navigar look unorganized with the cancelled captain issue. The check-out captain "Terry" was awesome! and we really appreciated him joining us at the last minute. Two of the people scheduled to be in our group, were unable to make it at the last minute - Sara Jay Anderson and Theodore "Teddy" Anderson (the baby). Sara was hospitalized a couple days before the trip and her physician advised no international travel, so she and Teddy did not make the trip. It would be small, but still worth asking if any charges for them could be refunded?
